2026 Annual Training Conference

Conference Information:
The 2026 Iowa D.A.R.E. Officers Association Conference will be held July 27–28, 2026, in Marquette, Iowa.

Lodging:
D.A.R.E. Iowa will cover two nights of lodging (Sunday, July 26 and Monday, July 27) for all Iowa D.A.R.E. Officers attending the conference. Accommodations are provided at the Comfort Inn & Suites – Marquette, which is located in the same building as the Marquette Community Center, the conference venue.

After completing conference registration, attendees requesting lodging should use the hotel reservation link displayed below to reserve their room within the conference room block. Reservations must be completed no later than July 6, 2026, to guarantee the conference rate and room availability. A valid credit card may be required by the hotel at the time of reservation or check-in for incidental charges.

Parking:
Due to limited parking at the hotel, attendees are requested to utilize the municipal parking lot located under the Marquette–Joliet Bridge and the municipal lot west of the city park on Edgar Street.

Meals:
Lunch will be provided on Monday and Tuesday for all registered Iowa D.A.R.E. Officers. Meals are sponsored by the Iowa D.A.R.E. Officers Association (IDOA).

D.A.R.E. Planners:
The 2026–2027 D.A.R.E. planners will be available for pickup during the conference. Previous planner versions are no longer approved for use in the D.A.R.E. program, and officers should ensure they obtain the updated planners.

Officers unable to attend the conference may pick up their planners at the Oran Pape State Office Building in Des Moines at a later date.

Agenda:

The conference agenda is subject to change.  Session topics, presenters, and scheduled times may be modified as necessary due to scheduling adjustments, speaker availability, or other conference planning considerations.  Updated agenda information will be provided to registered attendees as it becomes available.
