Mar-Mac Police Executes Search Warrant

On January 4, 2019, at approximately 11:30 pm, the Mar-Mac Police District executed a search warrant at 158 ½ Main Street, McGregor, following a report of illegal drug use, drug distribution, and child endangerment.

During the search, drug paraphernalia with residue was found inside the apartment, in the same room with the infant’s toys.  The reported endangered child was not as the residence and determined to be at a separate location.

The residents of the apartment, Nicolas Manuel Gonzalez, Isabel Ann Gonzales, and Alexis Lille Fox were present during the search warrant.

At the conclusion of the search warrant, Nicolas Gonzalez and Alexis Lille Fox were cited for Underage Possession of Alcohol and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor).  Isabel Gonzales was cited for Underage Possession of Alcohol.  All were released with a scheduled court date.

Mar-Mac Police was assisted by the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
